Pablo Moscato's Graduate Courses

During the year I spent at the California Institute of Technology , I took several courses related with the subject of the fellowship. I have successfully completed four terms of residence to complete the requirements of one first year as a ``Special Visiting Graduate Student''. The courses were

Prof. G.C. Fox's courses were mainly based on the book ``SOLVING PROBLEMS ON CONCURRENT PROCESSORS'' of Fox, Johnson, Lyzenga, Otto, Salmon y Walker, Prentice Hall, Englewood Cliffs, N.J. (1988).

I also attended lectures of other courses when related to neural networks and applications, like the one given by van Essen and Bower about Neurobiology, those of ``Computational Vision" given by Christof Koch and ``Pattern Recognition" given by Demetri Psaltis. They were part of my duties to take credits for ``Reading and Research in Neural Networks'' and ``Reading and Research in Physics'', up to complete the requirements of a full-time student.

``Parallel Computing and PVM'' given by Dr. Michael G. Norman (University of Edinburgh) at Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Feb. 1994.

``Adversaries and Computation'' given by Juan Garay from from Network Security Group at IBM Watson Research Labs, given at Universidad de Buenos Aires. August 1995.
